This association supports and keeps company foreigners who live in Japan, receives home-stay
and home-visitors from overseas, as well as providing study meetings. It also seeks to exchange with other groups and regularly publishes its own bulletin. This association, whose members live all over Aichi Prefecture, is divided into 5 regions: Owari (20jmembers), Chita (9), Nagoya (16), West Mikawa (18),East Mikawa (8). The members of this association, are qualified by haveing been involved in the volunteer activities of their own local area for more than three years,were selected by the Aichi Prefecture Youth and Women's section and delegated abroad. Committees of "HANANOKI" include groupes concerned with the wastes problem, the international home-stay group, the tea ceremony group, and the multimedia research group.
